Sierra column wires!!

Hi all, can anyone tell me what the 2 brown wires that are on top of the sierra column above the connectors. They do appear to come from just below the hazzard button but not sure. There is also a single brown wire that goes to a spade connector just to the left of these wires, again I have no idea what this is for.
Many thanks
Stuart.

The two brown ones connect to two contacts in a small plastic casing on top of the column that make contact with the metal rings on the back of the steering wheel for the horn.

The other brown wire with the spade connection is the all important earth - make sure this is connected or it will cause you no end of trouble.

Hope that helps,

Pat...
