You can buy extensions for psu cables with a female one end and male the other, only about £1.50 each.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

The pins shouldnt be hard to fit , im not sure why you are having a problem. RS components sell the 14 pin plugs that you require and the pins by the
hundred or you can buy the 20 pin ATX connectors from maplins.I have found that a cut down 20 pin connector as in PCs doesnt fit as the plugs have
different shape ends to prevent incorrect connection.
If you can manage to solder or crimp the pins on to the wires neatly they should just push in to the plug and lock with the barbs on them, just check
the barbed bit is located so it fits the plug sideways on as the pin will not push in if located top and bottom.

Yep pc or xbox's use them in the power surply.
If you need another give us a shout and ill bung one in the post.
Paul if you cut them down they will fit no probs but you cant use the locating tag. Im using one to play with mine so I can save the pins for the
final loom.

Hi Warren , i realised that they could be made to fit without the locating tag whilst looking at one last night but would want to secure it somehow if
not using the lug to locate it.
In which case a 20 pin female connector can be bought from Maplins part no L70AZ cost £1.38

Ahh, Megajolt I presume, I didn't see it mentioned in the first post.
Not had any difficulty with mine, they just click into place, dosen't seem overly easy to get them wrong. Is the OP sure he has the correct
pins for the MOLEX connector? Soldering a wire which is too large onto the pins would probably cause them to be misaligned though.

They are the correct pins , I suspect the problem is attaching the wire neatly. I found it necessary to make a neat job or the pin will not push
fully home, also if fitted 90 degrees out it wont push home into the socket .

Can't understand it now....couple of guys over at Mike Sloanes tried it, and a few of my mates and we can get about 5 of them in without a
problem but not the rest....tried being super neat etc etc and don't think we're putting them in 90 degrees out but not sure! Got my da
on the case today with his soldering iron he should be better than me as he's joggled a few amatuer hf radios together before....Will give it
another go today and if no joy will tinker with the one Mac should be sending.....(did u get my u2u mac??) Otherwise gonna push them all as far as
possible and thengrind some plastic off the end till their right as the plug wont even push on right to the megajolt at the moment (well not far
enough to click anyway!) Cheers for all the help guys and I'll let you know how I get on.....Thanks Oli.
Ps.
Cheers Caber but am up in the far reaches of Aberdeenshire now though....Cheers
