Water temp gauge

Chaps,

Quick q re my water temp gauge.

Starting from cold it gradually works its way up to about 100 deg C, then drops to about 60 (thermostat opens) then goes back up to 95 ish, back to 70 settling at about 88.

I'm fine with the settled fig, but any suggestions why it fluctuates so much to start with.

My tintop warms to the correct temp and stays there, with no fluctuation.

Cheers

Simon,
Sounds like your thermostat has arthritis.
My Missus has trouble moving until she warms up!

John,

My thoughts too.

Not about your missus though

Another job for the "to do" list!
