Sierra Fuel Sender

Hi

Has anyone used the standard Sierra fuel sender? If to how have you fastened and sealed it in the tank?

Thanks

Stu

I cut out the hole from the top of the Sierra fuel tank (if you see what I mean! ) and used this as a template to draw around on the Locost tank.
I then chain drilled and filed until the Sierra sender fitted.

It sealed by using the Sierra sender gasket.

Take care when cutting the hole in the tank. The Sender is a twist fit so you want to cut a hole that means the sender ends up the right direction.

Hope that helps,
James

Thanks James - very helpful.

I should have taken more notice when I took it out of the Sierra!

Cheers
