Relay question??

Hi all,

I need some help! I'm completely electrically illiterate!

I want to run both my fuel pump and headlights via relays from the little wires in the loom - which relays would I need for this? Any tips about wiring them up would be great as well...

Thanks

Chris

you need 3 relays; one for fuel pump, one for dipped beam and last one for full beam.

Use maplin 12V relay: N02AW; http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=37526&criteria=automotive%20relay&doy=27m3

wire up as below.

the item labelled "fan" would be your lamps or fuel piump. The item labelled "thermostat" would be an on/off switch.

Use fat wires to cay the current to the head lamps.
