Ford coil pack wiring "plug"
Quick question, is it possible to remove the electrical terminals from the Ford coil pack wiring "plug" or connector (it's got 3
wires coming out of it) and then re-wire it rather than a having to do a cut and solder job? I've tried to get them apart but don't seem
to have the knack so far and I don't really want to F**k it up completley?
Are there locking tabs on both sides of the electrical terminals that hold them into the plastic housing?
Any pointer's would be very help full.

Did one for a mate and joined the wires by solder and then used Heatshrink on the individual wires.
Then used a bigger dia' of Heatshrink to finish it all off tidy.

Remove the red rubber grommet and lever out the blue plastic bit inside. Removing the blue bit has freed the plastic tab which holds the locking catch
that side and there is a small square hole between the connector and body for a thin screw driver to depress the locking catch the other side. Work
both and pull wire firmly as there is another grommet on the wire where it enters the plug. The pic shows one small locking catch on the terminal and
down the hole in the plug you can just about see the plastic finger that holds the other locking catch.

Anyone point me in the direction of "Vehicle Wiring", preferably a web site, or some other supplier for the coil plugs.
Also anyone know who manufactures Ford plugs, in particular the Coil and sensors from a Zetec ?
Cheers

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
