on the diff flange (as it doesnt move like the propshaft). Bit of araldite to stick em on and then cover with gaffer tape.

Defo on the diff lange - most stable part. Clean it thoroughly and clean it again. Mount one first. Dab of araldite (not the fast set stuff), push magnet into the dab. Apply more arongd the magnet and slight smear over the top. Set second at 180 deg to the first using same method. Take note of pip orientation.

Put the sensor in a very solid bracket and set at within 1mm to the magnets.

I used the ones supplied by ETB with the DD2 pro kit. I think they sell them seperately on their site.

It shows my first idea but as the propshaft moves with the gearbox under acceleration & braking its not a good idea to mount it on the prop. You can if you like, but I'd recomend the diff flange which you can just see in the distance with the threadloc bolts. I cant seem to find any pics of the magnets themselves but hopefully you'll get some ideas from this.

Im not so sure about araldite now!!
I got up to a ton at one point and bloody speedo droped to 50!! Sounds like one magnet hasfallen off. Need to investigate now.

Q - can e-metal be used to secure the magnets???
