Camera is 12V. And AFAIK the neuros is 9V. Have a look on the power supply for it, it should tell you what the output voltage is.

Theres several threads about it on the neuros forum.

1) On the packaging on the supply is down as 9-13v

2) the neuros have 5vDC written on it

3) and i measure the output as 4.4V

although the forum reccomends 9V

...and it says when charging- although it doesnt have a internal battery!

Some of the neuros alternatives also run on 5V. I would try a 5V supply and see if it works. If not try 9V.

Could always email Neuros and ask them if you dont want to risk it.

The pro duo cards are the best to use as they support up to 2Gb of storage. The large cards are expensive though!

Take your pick off ebay:

The sandisk and sony ones are probably the ones to go for.

I intend to make a 5V supply and a 9v suply.
It will run from 12v off the car, and will use a 7805 and a 7809 chisp which will regulate to thoses voltages at a Max of 1 Amp each supply which will be more than enough.

You will need a few extra resistors and capacitors around each chip to complete.

Fix the lot in a slly box. and ensure you have enough ally to use as a heat sink. it put one chip each end of the box to separate them heat wise.

Its fairly simple to do.
