SPA shift light settings?
I have a standard 105 bhp k-series 1.4 injection 16v engine in my car. I also have a three stage SPA shift light.
Any one have any idea at what rev points to set the lights?
I believe that the max revs are 6000 and peak of the torque curve is 4500.
Do I set the lights just beyond 4500 to allow the gearchange to arrive back at the top of the torque curve after changing gear?
Would 4700, 4900, and 5100 sound right or do I take the revs right up to 6000 and work backwards?
P.S. it is not a race car but I might do the odd trackday!
