Pinto efi - help!
I'm just stripping the last wire off the sierra that kindly agreed to donate it's engine to the cause and have got stuck!
I've traced the engine loom back to the ecu which connects into the main loom behind the dashboard, trouble is I don't know where this
goes and how much wire I need. Mr Haynes was no help at all for this stage, so wondered if anyone knew how to proceed/had a wiring diagram?
thanks!

Thanks conrodkid, last night was spent tracing these connectors all the way up to the bottom of the fuse box.
I had to stop when I realised that it was so dark that even with a torch I couldn't tell the colours apart anymore!
So tonight means the fuse box comes out and I continue slimming the loom down, I found a couple of useful bits of info under 'build tipz'
on www.rhocar.org.uk

i took the whole loom out of my car.
Apart from the obvious no use bits like the wiring into the doors.
This took about 4 hrs - a big proportion of the approc 16 hr donor strip down.
However, once you have all the loom out its easy, at least on a granada V6, to see how the loom breaks apart into main loom, iginion / efi, and
abs.

the loom is now out and I've managed to slim most of it down, just a little bit more to go!
This is such good fun isn't it!
