rev counter not working !!
Hi all after some help, i have just fitted webcon gold kit. Engine has fired up straight away but the rev counter is not working . I have removed
another webcon ecu but the digi dash was working fine before . Webcon have supplied a resistor to fit in the tacho feed and 12v live feed , but as
12v feed powers complete digi dash will this work ?? thanks in advance

revs
are taken from the coil or mcu wich is basicly an extra coil wich fires together with an other.
you can make up a small electronic board wich count revs.. but its strange that is has left working.

Sometimes the output of the ecu isn't compatable with some electronic dashes. My Evodash didn't want to talk to my MBE and I was forced to
use a feed from the coilpack instead.
The resistor you were supplied is probably a way of modifying the square wave output - it usually goes between the 12v signal & earth but
don't quote me on that
