Little electric pump wanted

Any ideas, links to manufacturers etc. appreciated. I'll probably use diesel as the coolant in my electric car, cool motor & converter, heat blown off in the heater. I need 3ltr/min at a couple of psi but I want continuous rating, no leaks, cheap etc. a submersible pump would be fine.
It's in the range of a big fuel pump (eg facet red top) but they're like £60 - - -

Any bright ideas guys???
cheers
Bob

Helper pump off any modern big saloon's cooling system?

Im using one off a merc CLK since it just happened to be hanging out the front of a crashed one at the scrappy.

Think it was £5

Cheers guys,
I discounted screen wash pumps cos theyre designed for intermittent use & not to pump diesel & at high pressure.
I've never heard of a coolant system "helper pump" - what's that do?
Like I said I want tiny flow and tiny pressure so I don't need anything fancy.
I've googled all sorts of 12V pump combinations without seeing anythin inspiring..
cheers
Bob

A helper pump is a little in-line water pump which can be switched on irrespective of whether the engine is turning over.

They appear in Porsche 944 turbos to gently continue to circulate the coolant to help cool down the turbine housing after the engine has been switched off, appear in e39 5 series BMWs as part of the 'rest' circuit which allows the heater to work when the engine is switched off - Merc CLK etc etc etc

Usually low flow, low head pumps which are quite nice and compact and happen to be 12v.

Bosch electric fuel injection pump should be pretty good for that job. Will pump plenty of volume, super reliable and £15 secondhand, look under the boot of any earlier injection vauxhall for a nice inline one with push on jubilee clip fittings.

I think something designed for fuel would be a good start, saves hassle with seals that don't like hydrocarbons.
