Ebay never ceases too amaze........

We have several items on ebay several cooker hoods etc........

We have included in the listing the retail price, with still 3 days too go one is within £1 of its retail price and if not collected in person postage will take it way over.........?

Don't some people read ? To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if it ended up been a non payment.

Hi it's just like all the lathes and milling machines 2nd hand + collection. That go for £200-£300 more than the same item brand new delivered to your door with 12 month warranty.

But if it's on ebay it must be a bargain .

cheers matt

It is called auction fever! You will see this at any auction, especially just before Christmas. As previously stated, it is the 'if it's in an auction it must be cheap' syndrome'. Some other types think of it as a competition and just have to win. There's nowt as queer as folk!
Look for my ebay listings of cigarette lighters, all for under £20!

Browsing idly from that thread I found this place which has seriously cheap rear lights (from £2 each) including LED ones for £17 each. If they are SVA legal some very good prices from industrial suppliers.

I saw someone buy some Escort track rod ends for £15 each on there once. £4 from the local motor factors...

Like you say, just because it's on e-bay doesn't mean it's a bargain!

I got some properly cheep in the end and now don't need them - I could double my money on a good day

I'm partway through a garage clearout now, constantly amazed how much people buy old sh1te for. I even put links to german & swedish or eurocarparts for a lot of parts i've sold, and they still go for more than the new price.

Lets not even get started on how much the septics will pay for 'euro' VW parts
