q 13 sva max rpm for an injected r1
just filling out the sva form,
does anyone know what i should put for the max rpm for an r1?

the max rpm ie I think i put the red line 12,500rpm
sorry to confuse but people used to put daft things(ie 7000rpm) to try and get away with the noise test and they got away with it aswell but not no
more

the rpm is where max power is, not max rpm i would guess at 11000 rpm for an r1.
they will noise test at 3/4 of this figure ie 8250 rpm so i would be conservetive in what you put on the form. you would probably get away with
10000rpm

I put 10,500 rpm as that's where max power is generated

yes sorry thats what I put max power on my carb r1 when I filled mine in
either way its over 10,000rpm
i think he noise tested me at 7,500rpm from memory

My carbed R1 makes max power at 10,000 RPM and the red line on the clocks is 11,750 RPM. These are the correct figures and the ones I put on the SVA
form. early FI engines won't be any lower than this and later R1 engines will rev much higher (13,750 RPM red line IIRC)
