prob a stupid one about driveshaft angle

i no this might sound stupid but can you run drive shafts like this

Yes, thats a vertical view, imagine viewing horizontally, when the axle is moving up and down.

It does however question the position of the diff.

Think 20 25 degrees total is the max normal, any more and it will still work, just shorten the life span a bit.

soz sould of put more info thats looking at the back of the car. its not as bad as in the picture the wheels about 10mm higher then the diff

My drive shafts are quite off 50mm in about 500mm.
Should be okay, although i`ve yet to find out!.

The frontr drivesafts from a xr4x4i go from the sump to the hubs so they have 50mm (at least) in 3-400mm, ang they work okay.

AFAIK it is actually wrong to have a perfectly aligned situation. Think I have read something about that before on this forum.

the rear drive shaft inner joint should, when the car is static and has no load, be an inch above the outer.
