suspension bolts
Hi just been reading through the sva manual- it says suspension bolts should have strength rating of 8.8 or equivalent
mine have three lines marked on them? (they came with the kit)
does anyone know if these are ok?

As far as I know they should be marked with the correct grade i.e. 8.8 for SVA. If you get stuck or are not sure I have a spare set of 26 M10x70mm
bolts (grade 8.8) with nylocks and 52 10mm washers all in BZP finish.
If your interested you can have them for £10.00 + postage

three marks is fine although your SVA man might not know this so print it off the internet somewhere if you can

Three lines is Grade 5 here in the states. I would think (hope) markings are universal.
Be dangerous otherwise.....
I would say replace with a high quality Grade 8 or better.

Spot on Tom, more than likely 1/2" UNF, AFAIK 3 lines is equivelent to 8.8 in metric.

Ive used Ti bolts everywhere. Never gave it a thought I would have to prove bolt strength. Ill have to get some paperwork for SVA time then!
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!
