wiring up lights savage switch

after spening hours today trying to work out how to do this i gave up. im hoping someone can give me some more info on how to wire up the lights hazards ect.

i got the h/brake warning light working i also got the side light working but thats it.

im using a premer wiring loom and origaly had the seirra switches which i wired up no problem, now i have done away with the seirra stuff and got savage switches.

ive wired up the side lights like this

terminal 1 red wire (batt pos)
terminal 2 slate wire (to fuse box)
this works ok,not sure if its right ?

i thoght i could just put a ign live to each switch ie term 1 then say bron/white (main beam wire ) to terminal 2 but it doesnt work not sure if the switch needs a earth as the side light didnt seem to need one

sorry if its long winded
cheers simon

p.s the switches i have are side light, dip beam, high beam hazard switch..

do i need another switch for the high beam flash ??

thanks simon

arnt some sierra switches switched earth rather than switched voltage, maybe the main beam etc needs earths not ignition supplys as i would pressume you are controling relays not the lights directly.
