fuel pump

on my track car ive started to wire up the fuel pumps iam gonna put them on a switch inside the car. do you need to wire them with a relay or just run it with an inline fuse.and what size fuse do you use

20A fuse and similarly rated switch or if not then use 20A relay.

Suggest a inertia switch incase you get badly shunted?....

I would use a relay if at all possible
