EDIS Location.

I was up the scrappy the other day and they had a load of newer (R, S reg) Mondoes and Escorts.

For the life of me I couldn't find the EDIS. It was made a bit difficult because the motors are piled up on each other.

Any one know where the unit lurks.. is it in the engine bay or inside the car??

Steve

Yep, thats were I understood it was but couldn't find it down there. No wires lurking.

I'm going back Friday for some coolant pipes so I may just look a bit harder

After all I was searching for a tow bar last weekend and anything else that caught the eye

Cheers
Steve

Only the automatics had the edis on the later cars.

On the Mondeo it sits bang in the middle of the engine bay just under the Screen( infront of the wiper motor).

These are often in the best condition as they are out the way of all the crud.

On the older Fiesta's (G,H,J,Ki sh)they also sit on the back of the bulk head , again in the middle.

Again these are often in better nic than the ones that sit on the inner wing.

They all say edis
