Vapor dash help
I bought a Vapor dash second hand. It did come with instructions BUT the leads out of the dash weren't identified and the instructions
don't really help either. I think I have it installed correctly but (here's the daft question) can you activate the speed sensor by
wafting a magnet under the probe? I'm not in a position to run the road wheels up to speed and would like to test it statically. Also as no
magents were included in the sale, will any only cycle computer magnet work? I was going to glue it to the prop adapter, is this a good idea?
Any help would be appreciated

I dont know if this will help but to check my sensor (not vapor) i put a flat wood speedbit in a drill ans then spun it in front of the mag sensor.
That seemed to show speed on the speed gauge.

As above for me too, i taped a magnet to an allenkey, then put said allenkey in my drill, and it gave a signal, to do it by hand you would have to be
like superman to move it fast enough.

I'll give that a try tomorrow, assuming I can find a magnet.
