Are these EDIS4 parts OK to use with a Megajolt?
Hi
After a trip to the local breakers yesterday, the only car which still had the EDIS4 parts left on them was a H Reg XR2i.
I bought them anyway but it would be great if someone could confirm that these will work OK with a Megajolt?
XR2i EDIS4
XR2i Coil Pack
Thanks in advance.

Yep
Look fine - give em a clean with some WD40 on a rag.
Did you get the multiplug for the EDIS unit too...?? You can take these to bits quite easily and remove the pins you don't need.
Cheers

Cheers Guys.
Yep I got all the wires, connectors, plug leads and the VR sensor for £20.
Breakers yards are getting a bit thin on the ground around here (Reading, Berks) and this was the only set left in the whole yard (maybe 10 suitable
fords).
Is the whole world fitting MJ/MS to their cars?

Last time i went to looms on Derby i had a choice of about 20 fiestas fitted with EDIS4.
Are these parts sort after? they dont seem to be selling very well on ebay.

It must be the area, there's only a few breakers around these parts and they don't have much in the way of older cars (say pre-95 or so)
these days. In fact of you've got an old rotter you want rid of you'll have to pay to get rid of it (particularly if it doesn't roll
and it's old), no getting paid for your donor shell here I can't remember the last time I saw a Sierra in a scrappy.
