Koso dash revs

Hello,

Had anyone got the Koso revcounter working on a CEC without megajolt?

I have tried running it off the coil (it does nothing) I have tried wrapping it round plug leads with varying success but generally doesnt work

Any ideas?

Are you connecting to the negative/switching side of the coil?
