Electric Fuel Pump
I'm about to upgrade to a bigger crossflow running twin 40's and assume I'll need to run an electric fuel pump, of which I have no
experience at all, so I'm in need some help.
What would be a suitable pump? (preferably cheap) Is their anything off of a production car that would work?
Can I mount it at the back of the car?
Do I have to have a regulator and if so how is this set up?
What's the best way to wire everything into a Sierra loom? Can I use the heated rear window circuit and use the switch as a fuel cut off?
Hopefully someone can help, as I'm an electrical numpty.

Hello David,
I had to do the same thing on my Fairthorpe when the engine was uprated and twin 40s fitted.
I used a Facet Red Top and Filter King which is both a regulator and filter. I belive the Facet can be fitted at the back or the front. It worked
really well and I can certainly recommend this set-up.

I use the Facet Redtop pump at the rear of my car and a Filterking filter/regulator in the engine bay with no issues at all with my 4.2 V8 so I would
guess it will be more than man enough for the job in that layout on most carb setups!
