with others and pass on help.I am suitated in Forest Ho;; not too far from Bromey, Croydon etc. Have tried listing in mags but seem to be blocked.

I am too near Bromley. Would love any advice as I still have quite a way to go
lol.
I have not heard of any clubs around here and it would be great to know.

Not that near in miles but not too long in time is the WLM group (West London Mafia) which meets on the first Sunday of every month at Newlands Corner
near Guildford. Not specifically for self-builders but we are quite friendly and the caff does a wicked bacon and egg bap!
If you do a search for WLM or Newlands on here you will find a few threads.
Also, though I didn't DIY build I am fairly near you

Redhill aerodrome was mentioned last year, not sure how busy it gets on a weekend (sunday) but might be worth a look and a run out for us over in west
london and guldford area.

Oh yes, Bob, I remember that idea from Donut. Looks worth a try out some day... a bit closer for me than Newlands, too.

If you boys want to make a regular meet south/east london make it a diffeent date than the west london one (first sunday) then we can get out for two
meets a month
Last sunday of month would be good, i dont think it would clash with any shows.
We only chose sunday mornings as weekday evening meets in pubs are a bit awkward with some peoples work/life, also the tempation to drink and drive is
removed although i must admit i am deffinatly drinking far too much tea and coffee.

Yes i did mention Redhill aerodrome which would be good when the sun shines. There's always the Grasshopper Inn on A25 at Westerham!
The Cobra boys meet on 4th Sunday of the month there at 12 so we could have an early slot and drool over the Cobras before we go. They are a nice
bunch!!

If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.
