Griffin Power Systems...

Does anyone have much experience with these Zetec inlet manifolds and ECU's?

I'm going to be using a 1.8 zetec and can't afford throttle bodies and this seemed a good solution (although their advert doesn't mention cost anywhere!)

Any advice for or against?

hi
i used the full system,
not too bad, ecu was easy to use, software was great!

would be cheaper to make a manifold buy so bike t/bodeis and do mega squirt
imho (if i was going that way again)
as you still need a throttle body and injectors etc from the engine

but the griffen system was ok !

hope that helps, i

I've got the throttle body and injectors all on the engine already, so no extra expense there.

The site doesn't mention how much the kit costs - can you remember how much it cost you?

If the click on the catalogue on the front page of their website it takes you to a page where you can download pdf versions of the catalogue and a price list - having had a look I'd be sitting down when you do it

i have taken the 1.8 escort engine, and used the mondeo 2lt plastic manifold and stock ECU. This gives a very locost option, but still very drivable and good mpg.

Its easy to do and id gladly help guide you through how its done.

The only expense i had was for the custom plenum connecting the throttle body and the MASS meter ( cause of bonnet space ) and the air filter!
