03 R1 wiring

Just started with my engine wiring on an 03 R1, can anyone give me some advice.

I think I have connected everything correctly.

1.I have the gearbox in neutral and checked the switch, when I connect the neutral switch I can hear a relay click in the starting circuit relay.

2. I have wired up the enigine stop switch and this is closed.

The query I have is the two wires for the engine start as the wiring diagram shows them as Blue/White & Black, my connector has two black wires.

Also I do not seem to have any life in the bike clocks, I have 2x 12v supplies and the negative is checking out OK.

Thanks.

According to my wiring diagrams the start switch is two black wires. The US loom is black and blue/white.

That agrees with what I thought, I have two balck wires which look like the start.

What am I missing ot get my engine to turn over. I have since read that I may need to link out the clutch switch is this correct.

Thanks for the info, I have everything connected as your instructions. I now think I may have a cyclelock and I am unsure which wires I need to connect together. I have a 3-way and a 6-way connector------any advise ??????
