can you recognise this sender?
i need to replace my fuel tank sender which is constantly leaking thro the electrical plastic in the center - its seen better cays by the looks of it
- the other option is to replace the guage with a VDO one with compatible sender -
questions - can anyone recognise the sender i have? so i can replace it - its being used with a Stewart Warner guage - which aint available anymore..
second and last question - if i were to use a VDO sender how does it mount in tank? - i could use the access plate in the top of the tank to mount
sender cos i cant see the old hole being the same for a new sender

Is it a Smith's?
VDO have 5 holes iirc.
I think they come with a plate to weld to tank
Speak to John at ETB instruments - he will
know & can supply the VDO - 01702 601055

If it is from MG Miget, then http://www.mgocspares.co.uk/acatalog/sec_midget.html lists at about £15.00

Watch out as there's 2 models, depending on buildyear of the midget. One with locking ring other with 6 holes, so ask before buying.
