bec non start
hi i have a fazer 1000 same as r1 on carbs have wired up but it will not start
i think it is fault with starter relay cut off
i have by passed clutch and side stand and the kill switch
but when i join the to black wires together to close off the cut of relay nothing happens
if you earth the starter relay with the 4 pin plug and the battery and to motor connection it will turn over
do you think this is a fault with the cut off relay and could i just fit a 2nd relay instead of having to get a new one
the relay in question is this one

Have you by-passed the clutch, side-stand and neutral (or is it in neutral) switches?

Check the gearbox is in neutral and try again
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

Make sure it is in neutral. Put the handbrake on. Short the blue + white wire from the starter relay to ground for a couple of seconds. The starter
motor should turn. If it does, your shorting of the clutch switch etc is the problem.

When in neutral it goes to earth. Short the wire to earth and see if it starts.
