Anyone got any pictures of their brackets for mounting an electronic speedo sensor to read off the propshaft?
Thanks

mine's mounted in the transmission tunnel side panel. i guess it depends on your sender though. mine's a reed switch with a straight
threaded body.

My unit is a Vapor which has a magnetic bolt and a sensor. they have to be no more than 0.5" apart. Not sure if the magnet needs to be face on
to the sensor.
Presumably yours reads the prop bolts as they pass the sensor ?

I have mounted mine on the engine, and it picks up the magnets which will be in the prop adaptor. The bracket is mounted on the bolts that were used
for the sprocket cover.

i had mine on the prop and it was a right sod for correct reading. (koso dash not able to calculate revoklutions below 30cm in circumference)
ended up welding it onto the front wheel upright. SVA man was far more pleased with this as he said the prop was not suitable
