Vapor Tacho fix

I've had a problem with the Vapor Tacho since I fitted it. The Tacho reading was erratic, jumping 1000 rpm when it felt like it. I tried the sensor wire in a number of different places and this made no difference.

Having done some looking round the web using Google I discovered that Trail Tech produced a Tacho sensor for the Yamaha Raptor specifically to cure erratic readings. Spoke to Trail Tech UK and they shipped me the Raptor kit of leads. The new Tacho lead has an in-line resistor (2.5M Ohms or thereabouts) and now the Tacho works brillantly.

Just thought I'd share

Jeff
