testing fuses
been looking at my fuses ,and have the usual spade ones and a relay one and some cube like ones ??
how do you test the cube like ones??

You should have about 8 normal spade fuses and probably 5 cube relays and a flasher unit for the hazzards/indicators.

LOL - cube fuses .....
those are relays or flasher unit.
easy to test - you would apply 12 V and listen to them clicking or measure resistance between contact.
they will have numbers like 30, 86, 87a, 88 .. which luckily for you conform to a standard.

One (relay) may be used on the ignition but not definate. There is normally a fuse for ignition live though so it may be that. What is your problem
and I will try to help talk you through what to check?

swapping from manta engine to xe and now wont turn over and battery light does not light up why i thought fuse??

What wiring have you done in the swap over? Have you kept the injection on the XE engine?
I did this swap for my brother in law on a Manta 400 so know it well.
