Arrrrrgghhhhhh!

I'm supposed to be a the Church Mouse 5 minutes ago and my car won't start.

It's been about a month since I last ran it. It's been connected to a battery charger / topper upper all that time.

Seems that the immobiliser won't mobilise!

Been to Halfords for spare batteries for the remote, but that hasn't cured it.

Looks like I'm going in under the wiring loom to find the three circuits that it cuts!

Five minutes of work with a pair of snips, a set of crimps and my wiring diagram had the car working again, and the alarm redundant.

She started on the second turn of the starter, drove faultlessly down to the Mouse. Took Ricco for a spin. Then came home!
