is it worth it??
I'd be tempted to just buy a battery cables of the right size...
Otherwise I'm pretty sure VWP would do it but you'ld obviously have to pay postage to get it there and at those prices.....

'Vehicle Wiring Products' do all the connectors and cables in different sizes. Just buy what you need and solder the joints yourself. V
easy and made to measure.

I'll crimp on proper battery terminals for you, no problem!
Just send me a U2U if you want me too.

although I had to solder on a battery connector once in the past - can't remember why - I would not recommend it.
You want the best possible electical connection and crimping is the way.
If you don't have the tool, you can make one. I keep meaning to post a photo but will attempt to describe it.
A block of steel with a V groove cut in it.
A small metal rod, say 4 mm diameter - could be a bolt cut to length.
Put the connector into the V and the rod o nthe other side, all in a vice.
Do up the vice.
The rod will push the connector nice and tight without squashing or defrming the conenctor - it rmains cirular but a bit pushed in indent - hard for
me to explain ....
I have used this method and not had any problems, no solder required.
