can these be used for reverse light & side lights?

quite like the minimalist look, but don't seem to be e marked. they do have e marked ones for £22 a pair, but i don't like the
housing's they're in

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I doubt Mr SVA man would like it.... I'd fit some bog standard ones in such a way that you can fit those afterwards....

Lights do not have to be e-marked so I don't see a problem. Reverse lights are not even a tested item so definitely no problem there.

Lights don't *have* to be e-marked but if they are not e-marked they have to be deemed "equivalent" by the tester. In my experience
they dislike anything that isn't E-marked (cos they failed my fog light which was brighter than the E-marked one I replaced it with and they
were happy with).....

With a non e-marked fog lamp the tester has to make a judgement as to whether it has a brightness of at least 150 candelas (not easy, so he's
probably going to err on the side of caution).
With side lamps brightness is not an issue so I wouldn't have thought they would have any reason for complaint (unless they are excessively
bright and liable to dazzle).
