Dax front bumper
I understand that Dax use a bumper, as such, to overcome Mr SVA man going in between the front wheel and bodywork with his spherical object (balls).
does anyone have any details how they are fixed and any scematics on them.

Electrics?
It looks like 2 pieces of bent 19mm tubing stuck on the front as an afterthought. You don't need a degree in bodging to fit anything like that
if you've built a chassis. Most of them lose it after sva anyway.

It is just a piece of tube mounted to the top suspension bolts. I was going to do this but the SVA rules changed and said that the extensions need to
be able to withstand a force of something like 20LB. This was to stop people like me just extending my indicators out on bits of tube to get thru SVA
easy! Dax have to do it as some of their side light positions are too low for SVA regs, so by mounting the side lights on the bars they get over this.
I found that a bag of nut covers and some plastic pipe for the track rod arms was all that was needed to get thru SVA, lot easier than making bars up.

How is the force of 20lbs measured, and what amount of deflection is allowed?

Best check with testing station, that's if they know! Suspect that if the bar is damaged or it's mounting break after force applies it
fails. Get some scales and push against something or get some fishing scales and pull against a bar to see what 20LB feels like. Like I say check
first as I can't remember exact force.
