will the small black headlight that gts sell pass the sva test?

i asked this a while back, don't remeber the answer. i think it was that the chrome ones are e-marked. I don't see why they shouldn't pass but don't hold me to that!

i think doz said that they arent marked but might pass...

hence i didnt bother myself. someone should find out though!

We have the Chrome ones on ours. Not passed SVA yet but can't see why they shouldn't. If you can wait a couple of months we'll let you know (Hopefully)

They are e marked.

Apart from the 'E' code, there are other relevant symbols to look for, the most important being the arrows that show which way it dips.

Looking face-on to the glass, you should see either

---> (dips to the left)

or

<-----> (dips downwards)

Mind you, it'll all come out when they put the beam tester in front of it...

my post above is the wrong way round BTW. they are marked but he cant guarentee they will pass. i had a u2u off him a while ago.

someone who is near an SVA place could just pop by and ask, if they have a pair?
