hi people
i have got a mk indy chassis and am going to change it to locost 750mc spec by moving all suspension pick up points and converting it to the escort
axle.
my question is , will it pass the rules. the only reason i am going to use the chassis is because its what i could get.
any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Best talk to Ivan at procomp on here.
He will provide some of the best advice available as well as offering a comprehensive service at very reasonable prices.
His set-up service is one of the most competitively priced.

Isn't the whole Indy chassis wider too?
Sounds like a long way round to me, that could end up costing the price of a locost chassis, but willing to be proved wrong
you may be correct but i cant find the measurements for the rear width of the indy .
Indy is wider a lot of work needed realy I would sell the Indy chasis and buy a Locost one there are plenty of manafactures who still do the chasis including MK
Hi.
It would be a pointless task to even attempt. The very basics of the MK Indy chassis are very different to what is used in the Locost championship.
For what is would cost to even think of converting it over you could buy a complete running car already racing in the championship.
Cheers Matt. 750Mc Locost championship formula official.
PS .
If you wish to seek any information regarding the championship just give me a call direct on: 0121 3503258.

Next door to you?
It would be easier and probably cheaper to keep the Indy chassis, forget the 1300 crossflow and put in an 1800 zetec and race in the sports specials series?
