Anyone know what other dipsticks are suitable for a C20XE, i've tried looking in local breakers for C20XE but no joy,

Have you asked your local VX dealer?

Pretty sure new ones are under a tenner.

If you could measure length it would be appreciated, i tried VX dealer just now, £17.81 +vat, in local breakers there's a few 1.8 astra and a few ecotec's, not sure if the ecotec has same dipstick

Ok, by the way - I have shortened my sump, but I didn't alter the dipstick in any way.

from top of tube to tip is 346m
----------"------------HIGH is 323.5mm
----------"-------------LOW is 338.5mm


stopper diam - 12 mm.
width of stick - 4mm
thickness...... - 1mm
