AS-Motorsport
Just thought we would introduce ourselves at AS-Motorsport.
AS-Motorsport is a fabrication and engineering company based in Essex that supply parts to the Motorsport and Kit Car industry. We are producing all
components for the Haynes Roadster and will produce components for the new Haynes Single Seater.
We have been working in the engineering industry for the last 10 years both in the development sector or the motor industry. Our products for this
reason are always fabricated not only with competition in mind but also to be aesthetically pleasing. To keep this high standard we favour TIG welding
over MIG, due to its tidier, higher standard of weld, and where possible all materials are laser cut or CNC machined to increase component
accuracy.
With development planned for our own affordable race car in the future we hope you enjoy the level of innovation and service we hope to offer at
AS-Motorsport!
Check out our website for our constantly updating range of Haynes and locost products.

Greetings, what a small world LOL
just this morning I was asking about recomending companies, that company being you LOL
I received this morning my set of rear wishbones.
if anyone is looking to buy them, then there are obviously other companies out there but I can personally say without any problems that I will use
these people again
good quality work, well priced, very well packed and fast delivery
most importantly they were the only company that I contacted that actually replied to my emails and questions, were honest regarding stock and
timescale for delivery.
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

How is TIG a 'higher standard' than MIG?

what is included in the "starter chassis" you have for sale on your website? does it have the suspension bits included? what about
uprights? could you do a complete package inc. poly bushes and all bolts as a one stop shop?

Yes we did notice this, but they are an Aston Martin specialist and i believe a few people have had dealings with them in the past.
We had hoped this wouldn't cause too much confusion but we are not connected to asmotorsport. Its pretty hard to find a company name that
hasn't been used but is still relevent to your own buisness.
Thanks for pointing that out and allowing us to mention the difference.

One of my pet hates (only comes second to people that don't/won't put their location in their profile), good as the products look, I will
not buy from anyone if I don't know where to find them

Hi guys
Sorry, to clear up any confusion. We are currently based in Chelmsford. But are in the process of moving our engineering works to a new location
(still within Chelmsford.)
We have added our phone number to the website recently, in case anyone would like to contact us more directly. As soon as we are set up in the new
place the address will become part of the website contact details aswell.
On another note, we are going to have discount weekend soon, Would this be of interest too anyone on here?

If you were set up in 2008 how can you have been, and I quote:
"working in the engineering industry for the last 10 years" ???
And, a mobile as a contact number does not give any customer confidence.

If they are still going they are not producing Roadster parts any more, I know Stuart from a grasstrack back ground and he had a few upright parts
from me 2 years ago. When he saw that I was making chassis and wishbones on a production basis and under cutting every body by 30% they faded in to
the back ground.
