Haynes Roadster doomed to £200 road tax?
Is there anything we can do to get rid of the £200 road tax that comes with a ford sierra drive train?
I was wondering if you got all the parts seperately and got a Q plate, would the tax be based on the original system, with the engine being higher
than 1549 paying £200 or would it be sorted into the latest tax system.
I was thinking maybe you could put a catylitic converter in and get less tax on it. I'm sure it can't be that simple

As much as I'd love the added mpg of a diesel it wont be that fun will it? I suppose the price of sierras would offset the tax, seeing as
you'd pay a lot of money for a new engine or a bike engine so its probably the best way of doing it cheaply.
Has anyone bothered making a 1.3 pinto locost? Or is it going to be pathetic?
