Front Grill
Hey guys,
What have you guys done for front grills? Looking at something more than just mesh etc?

Most people use just mesh, as air needs to get through but stones need to be stopped  You could always put a design in front of the grille though to
be different.

Worth noting that cooling can be marginal on some builds. Expanded mesh doesn't flow air very well; Lots of mesh and not enough holes.
You're a lot better off with woven mesh as it flows air far better.
The down side is that it won't look as good with a painted emblem; There's just a LOT less material to paint.
I have seen the plastic grid for the bottom of fish tanks (to stop the gravel moving about) used as a grill. It looks pretty good and seems to flow
air very well.

I used two vertical 6mm steel rods with a series of 6mm steel rods welded across at the maximum allowed by SVA at the time. The vertical rods fitted
into the nose come at the bottom and had cap head screws (could be hex head or whatever) welded at right angles at the top that fitted through the
flange on the nose cone opening and secured with nylocs. I put an O ring either side so that the fibrehglass didnt crack.
