collapsable steering column
Hi all, I´m building my Haynes roadster in Sweden & according to the law here the steering column has to be collapsable so you dont get pinned to
the seat in case of an accident, so I was woundering if anyone had used something like that & what could I use on the Haynes roadster that would
be compatable with the Ford Sierra steering wheel & column.
Thanks ,
Samy

As far as I am aware, the steering column from th Sierra IS collapsible.
But I could be wrong.

i,m building the roadster too & will be using the donor steering column, so as far as i,m aware the sierra column is ok to use.
tho it does need to be extended.

According to the Haynes Sierra manual, all versions of the Sierra have collapsible column, although there are various types of outer colum,
