so have you started building yet ?? I see that the Haynes roadster chasis packs ar back for sale on EBAY in my oppinion they are well worth the money
and will make the build significantly quicker and more accurate
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Beware how you answer that! BEC or CEC is always a trick question. It's as likely to get you into an argument as "Does my bum look big in
this?"

Personally I wouldn't goto all the hasssle of making my own chassis again
Have a chat with Phil at Talon Motorsport, he does some really good deals.
He is a member on here and the haynes forum
I am not connected with this company at all, just seen the quality of his work

hello and welcome.
i would like to weld up my own chassis, but that is just because want a enough car in my collection, but i think it will take time to do.
as said the ebay kits are well worth the money, and save a lot off hassle, the bloke is a nice guy.

personally I think it's to much hasstle to do your own chassis and you need to be a good welder! to me the fun is putting it all together.

Thanks for all the replies.
I'll be getting a flat pack kit from Handy Andy (saturn sports cars), which is local to me.
The engine will be a zetec on bike carbs and magajolt.
I haven't started the build yet, as i'm still in the process of finding a suitable garage, but as soon as i have one, it'll be all
systems go!
Can't wait.
