Help with Shopping List
Due to lack of space to locate a donor vehicle while i strip it and in keeping with a budget build mindset, i am considering hitting the breakers
yards witha few friends in order to source as much as i can piecemill so that i can box, label and store amongst the garages available through family
and friends etc. I can then use the parts as i need them without taking up valuable build space in my garage.
In order to get as many parts as possible that i can then get rid of if i decide to buy new can you help me in putting together a shopping list of
major components that i can then tick off as i find them. Looking for the individual parts that form the bigger major units.
If you could propose items under the follwoing categories it would be great;
1) Engine
2) Rear Suspension
3) Front suspension
4) General running gear
5) Electrics
6) Others
Your help is much appreciated

What donor vehicle are you planning to base it on?
If Sierra I can save you time, don't bother with breakers you won't find one
If mx5 you have better chance.
Keep an eye on eBay and here as bits regularly come up like diffs and brakes etc
Wiring you can order a loom from premier wiring but engine loom must come from whatever engine you decide on
