My Haynes Roadster

Just bought a very nice Haynes Roadster last week, it's built using an MX5 donor engine.
I've been out in it a few times this week, although the roads have been damp and cold it handles very well (gentle right foot required, lol).

Looks very nice

Just be very careful on our grippy salted roads!

Looks very nice indeed, do you know what number car it is? The Haynes forum records each car built, mine is No 49. And yes - mine hates wet, damp, icy or greasy roads of any sort - wheelspin - no problem

Yes mine is an MX5 powered car. Its a Mk 2 1600 which is ok with me as it gives me more than enough power. I am an ex biker who has tried to go sensible in my old age and get four wheels but ... ;-)

Cheers, it would be good to meet up with some other kit car owners from this area.
Are the body panels you produce from the old Saturn mounds?
