Haynes Roadster

Hi all

Just before I commit to fixing my steering rack frame/bracket to it's final resting place, is there anything I should be considering or is "The Book" all good in this area.

Thanks in advance.

Tony.

Hi,

It depends which edition of the book you have. In the first, there is a mistake.

Check the "Book Amendments & Extra Guides" on this page this page...

... especially the document "BYOSC Amendments 1.4.pdf" that says :

"3. Page 51 Figure 4.30 The 90mm vertical dimension should be from the top of tube BR1 not the bottom"

This has been corrected in the second edition.

Also, the last document "steering support" is worth checking.

Hope that helps
