I used ones like these, which have been on the car for about 3 years and although dirty are absolutely fine and do their job well.

CLASSIC CAR battery terminal cover / insulation boot PAIR POSITIVE & NEGATIVE

Good quality rubber - TE make stuff I use at work in motorsport, would recommend their stuff generally.

Thanks, they look just the job as the Red Top has flush terminals.

Excellent news!

I'm pleased you took the criticism the way it was intended and used it to get a well deserved pass

Car looks good.

Nice one!

A friend has offered to do me some 3d printed parts. Its a great bit of kit and only cost him about £250!

Hi

Well done, my haynes roadster passed it's iva at kidderminster in January (second time round).

I really recommend taking your roadster to procomp and having the suspension set up it utterly transformed my roadster, also if your budget allows upgrade your shocks to the procomp protech shocks.

I'm in the process of having some front upper front rose jointed wishbones made to improve the caster angle and rose jointed rear lower wishbones to adjust the rear toe. The wishbones wishbones are only £185 delivered but that's not including rose joints.

If your ever fancy a meet up with a fellow haynes roadster build surviver I live not far from kidderminster let me know.

Wow, well done! I can only imagine the stress of going through the IVA process. You should be hugely proud.

Wow - Fantastic news! Well done on the first time pass! As said, your car looks great. I'd also be interested in seeing the before/after pics of the bits you tidied up if you have any?

Can I ask exactly which edging trim you used to go round your fibreglass seats and harness strap cutouts please? I've got the same ones by the looks of it and think that trim looks much neater and smoother than the usual 'textured' edge trim stuff which I don't like?

Cheers
Tony

Congratulations, well done. Get your paperwork in possibly in time for Stoneleigh.

My IVA paperwork went in on Tuesday so hope to hear something back soon.

Thanks everyone

I'll get some photos up some point soon.

Currently dealing with the paperwork - confused as to whether I should be filling out the V55/4 (new vehicle) or V55/5 (used vehicle) form?

I built my chassis from scratch, and have been issued with a brand new VIN by the DVLA, but all my running gear is obviously used (from various different cars...)

help!?
