Lovin the pop out headlights. Thats the first F1 styled car I've seen on the road that actually looks like an F1 race car. If the rear spoiler
was higher, it'd look even better IMO. Just like the 2009 F1 cars. (Well almost)

There is a bloke in Japan (I think) who made an F3000 car road legal.

I love it it looks very good and the headlights are brilliant, but (and it is a big but,) there is not enough road clearance for uk roads.
The car is a converted racecar, so making it work in the uk would mean jacking the suspension up so that worked on our roads, but that would make the
car undriveable/dangerous.
I wanted a car like that but I decided to build a car from scratch because of ground clearance issues..
Could you imagine it trying to get over some of the illegal height speed bumps or some of our potholes?

You wouldn't get to the end of my street without bottoming out. And it would take another two minutes to get stopped by the cops. You'd
get tired of that part after a while. BUT it sure would be fun!!

In 3 years of driving the F1-2 I never got stopped by the police.
I just loved the look on their faces when I drove by!

Why is it illegal?
Lots of modern cars have pop up lights

The lights would be ok but hardly any of the body work would pass the SVA/IVA.
Pretty cool though
Cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
