Transit 2.5 diesel

As topic. In need of a 2.5 diesel for the tranny. Preferably south of the M4. The current engine just broke a rod and a piston.

Cheers,
Nev.

I've got an R reg 2.5 diesel. Currently has no tax and MOT ran out two weeks ago. I would sell as is for £450 or I've got it booked in for an MOT on Monday and then would want £750. I'm just off J9 A1M if any good to you.

I have a 1999 2.5NA LWB 100 MK5, on SORN, no MoT, low mileage. Engine and Gearbox are superb, chassis is non-existent, tyres are pretty much new, it's got diesel fuel in the tank! It starts and drives beautifully, but the brakes aren't at all safe.

If you're happy to transport this beauty out of EX23, it's yours for £100, a third of it's scrap value. I'm not greedy, you're in need, why should the scrap man benefit.

Thanks for the offers fellas, but I've just been offered an engine locally.

Nigel, when I get this thing going again, I may take up your offer if it's still there. A bit of a haul from Soton though.

Cheers,
Nev.
