Peugeot 306 HDI turbo for sale
My good ladies car is up for sale as we have replaced it, she normally only does 4-5k miles a year now. I'm pretty honest (too much perhaps) so
here is the description;
Bad points IMO;
No history
brake discs lipped and pitted but still stops well
needs a tyre due to poor alignment on front (either i wasted £20 or pothole/kerb got involved again)
suspected wheel bearing worn (heavy droning at speed above 30mph)
has had "contact" at the front off side resulting in missing fog lamp, cracked lower lip on bumper and air bag light is lit on dash (was
like this when bought 3 years ago)
spot or two of rust on rear nearside quarter panel (another scrape)
lets in rain through drivers door seal depending on which way the wind blows!
clutch cable very heavy (cheap fix but i am not a contortionist)
steering groans when turning right (or maybe left-can't remember but likely wheel bearing issue)
speedo is tempermental occasionally
146k miles
Good points;
Has a month or two tax and mot
starts first time every time
no smoke and pulls well
comes with spare set of four 15" alloys with good tyres-one has a flat spot due to pothole (originally off a 406 coupe)
quite economical
buyer will get cuppa and biscuit's
If i was putting it on ebay it'd be "spares or repairs"
Good car just needs some care to bring put a few bits right, i don't have time or inclination to do it but i know plenty on here do.
Its a 2001 meridian so pretty high spec in its day.
